St Ives - cheeky birthday break

Welcome to our trip to St Ives ....   55 years old (On this day as it happens) and still loving a double upgrade, thanks to a last minute booking and a stray joint on a windows sill.  more of that later.

Here's a video round up of our little walks along Carbis Bay beach and the railway line from Carbis Bay to actual St Ives. We had exceptional weather and the colours were basically reminiscent of the Indian Ocean ...  Stunning ..

A tradition of my wife, the tourist, is to “trip out” on birthdays ... 

No -  not that way ...   on a more conventional journey. This time it’s my 55th and it falls on a Saturday. Bringing to our attention that trying to book anywhere on the last Saturday in July, is silly money.
We had actually given up on the venture, or at least I had.
